CWPL process a wide range of thermoplastic materials. It is fair to say that material extruders as well as supplying their standard grades have also developed a series of hybrid grades to suit the needs of particular industries.
This popular material has possibly the widest range of options. Available as recycled or standard grade. There are also various blend versions including fire retardant, UV and high temperature grades.
ABS is generally characterised as medium strength and impact, easily mouldable with good aesthetics. This is a relatively low cost material.
Available as a recycled or standard grade and there are also many hybrid variants which are industry specific, including aircraft, trains and electronic/telecoms bespoke grades.
Polycarbonate is generally characterised as high impact, high strength, good fire retardancy.
Available as a standard and also as a blend by specialist manufacturers.
PVC has good chemical resistance and fire retardancy. It can be either clear, coloured or decorative finish.
This material is usually supplied with a high gloss, high visual finish, relatively low strength and low cost
This material is available as either cast or extruded and is characterized as high quality transparency, reasonably good surface hardness and good UV stability. Very popular with the signage and lighting industries.
This group of materials includes polypropylene and HDPE
The material tends to be tough and strong, and popular for outdoor use applications.
